Yaracuy Film Festival will announce its winners this Sunday

With an intense program that runs from this Friday, November 21, to Sunday, November 23, the organizing committee of the Yaracuy Film Festival (FESTICY) under the motto: Cinema and Mountain, will reveal the names of the winning productions.

The members of the organizing committee reported that the award ceremony will take place this Sunday, November 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Yaracuy Movie Theater.

During this event, the winners of the 30 productions selected in four categories will be announced: fiction short film, documentary short film, student exhibition and Mirada Yaracuyana special prize.

The jury is composed of videographer and screenwriter Astrid Nobrega, philosopher and writer for film and television Oscar Reyes Matute, and film director Pablo de La Barra.

This festival seeks to highlight the natural wealth of the Yaracuy state through the seventh art with the mountainous landscape of the region. In addition, it is a space for the exhibition of films and also a cultural encounter that connects art with nature.
