This Wednesday, the Armed Forces of Yemen announced the execution of an attack with two missiles aimed at strategic objectives in the Tel Aviv area, an action that the Israeli military authorities claimed to have neutralized after setting off alarms in several locations in the center of the country.
The Yemeni military spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said in a statement that “the missiles were aimed at strategic objectives of the Israeli enemy in the occupied region of Jafa (Tel Aviv)”.
According to the details provided, one of the missiles was of the 'Palestine 2' model, equipped with multiple warheads, while the other was of the 'Zulfiqar' type. Saree stated that the operation successfully achieved its purposes, although the Israeli Army maintained in a previous note that the rockets had been intercepted around 9:40 (local time).
The attack comes a day after another Yemeni offensive against different parts of Israel and a ship in the Red Sea, as part of the escalation of actions by the armed forces and the Ansarollah resistance movement following the Israeli bombing that last week killed Prime Minister Ahmed al Rahawi and more than a dozen members of his cabinet in Sana'a.
