Young talents from the scientific hotbed in the state of Mérida developed a comprehensive system that automates chicken coop management, which was presented at the 2026 Creative Robotics Olympics.

As reported by the Ministry of Education on its Telegram channel, this “Robotic Nest” uses sovereign technology to ensure the safety and feeding of birds through a smart door with a light sensor and a precise ration dispenser.

“The most innovative thing about this project is its Wi-Fi connectivity, which allows users to monitor and configure the corral in real time from any mobile device,” said the Education portfolio.
