Youth promotes the strengthening of Popular Power through the Comuna Joven Plan

With the purpose of consolidating the role of youth in community development and participatory democracy, a guidance meeting of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission was held this Friday.

The meeting, according to a press release from this Great Mission, focused on the Common Youth Plan, a key initiative for the activation and strengthening of youth committees in the country's communes.

During the meeting, the actions to be carried out in March as part of strengthening youth participation within popular power were outlined.

The main agreements include: Comprehensive mobilization of youth teams throughout the country.

The event was attended by the Minister of Youth, Grecia Colmenares, and the president of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, Genesis Garvett, who together with

national leaders of youth movements and the Great Patriotic Pole and community representatives. The space served for debate and the consolidation of strategies to deepen popular organization in Venezuela's 5,338 communal circuits.

The Comuna Joven Plan is projected as a fundamental pillar for Venezuelan youth, promoting their participation in the construction of public policies in conjunction with the plan of the 7 transformations from the territories.

In this regard, all young people in the country are called upon to join this strategy of community strengthening, working together for a more inclusive, participatory future with greater social justice.
