Yulimar Rojas will participate in the Women's Club Championship in Spain

The Olympic and world triple jump champion, Yulimar Rojas, will be one of the main figures in the 45th edition of the Spanish Women's Club Championship, Joma Cup and Iberdrola Cup, which will be held this Saturday at the Luis Puig Velodrome Palace in Valencia.
The event reviewed by the Venezolana de Televisión website will bring together the most outstanding clubs in Spanish athletics, including Valencia CA, the most awarded in the competition with 28 titles, and Facsa-Playas de Castellón, champion in 2020, 2021 and 2024. Also present will be F.C. Barcelona, the At. San Sebastián, the Piélagos Athletics, the Grupompleo Pamplona At., the Trops-Cueva de Nerja and the Unicaja Jaén Paraíso Interior.
The day includes 13 tests that will take place between 5:30 and 7:55 p.m., to close the program with the 4×400 meter relay. In the short hurdles, the Spanish Paula Blanquer, national leader of the year with 8.11 in the 60 meters and reigning champion of Spain, stands out. The Portuguese Eliana Bandeira, bronze medalist in the Leiria 2024 European Cup, will participate in the weight throw.
The Italian Mara Rolli, European team runner-up in the Eurocross Lagoa 2025 and seventh in the World Cross Championship in Tallahassee 2026, will compete in the 1,500 meters. In the long jump, there will be the Bulgarian Milena Mitkova, multiple national champion, while the Spanish Belén Toimil, European finalist, double Olympic champion and national record holder, stands out in weight.
