This Sunday, the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, said at the Extraordinary Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) he denounced the violent acts carried out by the United States (USA) against Venezuela.
“The CELAC countries must take a step forward, because to remain silent in the face of this aggression is equivalent to endorsing it,” Gil said, speaking electronically at an extraordinary summit of the organization.
The Venezuelan Foreign Minister reiterated his complaint in the face of the extremely serious events that occurred on January 3, when the current government of the United States violated the Peace Zone of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Gil, denounced that with the attacks that occurred in Venezuela, the fundamental principle that supports the international legal order, such as the Charter of the United Nations, as well as International Humanitarian Law, has been violated.
