This Thursday, in statements to the press, Volodimir Zelenski indicated that he does not like the fact that the President of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, has first spoken to his counterpart from the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.

“I don't see this call as a matter of priority the fact that I spoke to Russia first. Although it's really not a pleasant thing,” Zelenski said, and recalled that his country does not accept talking about "Ukraine without Ukraine.

The leader of the Kiev regime also specified that during his conversation with Trump, which took place right after his call to Putin, he did not say that relations with Moscow were a priority for him. “Today we trust these words. It's very important for us to maintain the support of the United States,” he said.

He noted that it is important to have European partners at the negotiating table. “I think that Europeans should be at the negotiating table, because we are part of Europe and we will definitely be members of the European Union. It's important to us, they've helped us a lot.”
