The Zionist Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, assured that the operation of the second phase of the “Gideon Chariots” operation to occupy the Gaza Strip will be extended to refugee camps and areas still inhabited.
The deployment will be carried out by compulsory service units, with the support of 133,000 reservists. According to the military spokesperson, the 162nd Division began to encircle the enclave from Jabalia, to the northwest, with the objective of militarily occupying and exterminating the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip.
The Zionist War Minister, Yisrael Katz, authorized new recruitment orders, which involve an additional 60,000 troops.
Katz explained that the plan envisages four months of operations, including the creation of supposed “humanitarian zones” in the south of the Strip as a prior step to a mass evacuation, followed by ground maneuvers and aerial bombardments to facilitate entry into the city.
Hostage families fear that a new escalation will put the lives of their loved ones at risk. Arab mediators insist on reactivating ceasefire negotiations, but Tel Aviv conditions any agreement on the surrender of the Palestinian Resistance Movement HAMAS, total disarmament and the release of captives.
This offensive is in addition to 22 months of war against Gaza, a period in which Israeli occupying troops have killed more than 62,000 Palestinian civilians, mostly women and children. Israel's actions have also led to an unprecedented humanitarian crisis and an imminent risk of famine.
