ZULIA - MARA//President Maduro approved the construction of a solar energy park to guarantee electricity to Zulia

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that construction will begin on a solar energy park that will provide 50 megawatts to guarantee the supply of electricity in towns in the state of Zulia.

“This park will benefit the towns of Mara, Insular, Guajira and Almirante Padilla. We will install this park in 10 months at the Mara substation to give stability to the Zulia electrical system,” said the Head of State during a meeting with indigenous peoples of the Mara municipality.

In addition, the president reported on the signing of the decree for the creation of the Bilingual Intercultural University of La Guajira.

He indicated that in this house of studies all university careers will be held while respecting the languages of the original peoples.

“For the municipalities of Mara and Almirante Padilla, I have just approved the resources for the construction of the new coastal crossing and lake pier between the two municipalities. In terms of health, I also approved the complete rehabilitation with the BRICOMILES of the Paraguaipoa CDI,” he stressed,

In the same way, he undertook to install a modern dialysis unit for the Mara municipality no later than two months.
