ZULIA - PARAGUAIPOA/Candidate Maduro: I have come to be filled with the millennial strength of the Wayúu and Añú peoples

The candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB), Nicolás Maduro, received the energy of indigenous peoples this Friday, during a massive rally in Paraguaipoa, Zulia state, where those present confirmed their support for the elections on July 28.

During the meeting, the revolutionary leader criticized the genocide suffered by indigenous peoples at the time of colonialism in America. “There were one hundred million men and women from all peoples from north to south. In 50 years they exterminated 80 million and then enslaved those who survived.”

He pointed out that the Europeans looted and expropriated indigenous lands, but “this great peninsula, called the Guajira Peninsula, they couldn't beat you, they prevailed on your lands with their language, with their culture, with their identity and I can say that the indigenous resistance in this whole area transcended”.

“I have come here to be filled with the strength of energy and the ancient spirituality of the Wayúu peoples of the Añú peoples and I ask for their support, their love, I ask for the blessings of the people,” said the Bolivarian candidate.
