1.7 million inhabitants in Lara benefited from electrical maintenance

In order to ensure greater reliability in the electricity supply for more than 1,700,000 people, the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) is carrying out preventive maintenance actions on the transmission infrastructure of the state of Lara.

During these days, held in the municipalities of Iribarren, Palavecino, Simón Planas, Jiménez and Torres, specialists from the state power company completed the inspection of 1,209 transmission towers, thoroughly reviewing hardware, insulators, guard cables and other essential components of the electrical system.

The tasks also included the control of vegetation and controlled pruning of trees along 432 kilometers of line corridors, in order to preserve the safety and continuity of the service.
