18 continuous quarters of growth! National GDP increased 8.7% in the third quarter of 2025

The Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) reported that the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the third quarter of 2025 increased 8.71% compared to the third quarter of 2024.
In a press release, reviewed by Radio Miraflores, the BCV noted that in this way, the Venezuelan economy has 18 continuous quarters of growth, increasingly strengthening its recovery process.
In addition, the BCV highlighted the growth of 16.12% in oil activity and 6.12% in non-oil activity.
Regarding non-oil activities, the BCV reported that the largest expansions were: 16.40% in the construction sector; 9.35% in transportation and storage; 8.98% in manufacturing; 8.19% in trade and vehicle repair.
The report also indicates 7.08% growth in mining; 6.89% in electricity and water; 6.78% in accommodation and food services; 6.60% in real estate, professional, scientific, technical, administrative and support activities; and 6.11% in agriculture.
The financial body assured that “oil contributes to the growth” of the different sectors and “generates strong internal chains and the strengthening of value chains that make growth sustainable.”
