90% of communal circuits activated nationally in Second Popular Consultation 2024

The president of the National Community Electoral Commission, Carolina Arellano, reported that 90% of the communal circuits were activated nationwide in the Second Popular Consultation 2024, when she presented an assessment of the development of the day that takes place this Sunday, August 25, in the country.

At a press conference broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, he highlighted the massive participation of community members during the popular consultation, "90% of the activated circuits of the four thousand 505 circuits”.

“There have been some incidents due to the rain issue, in many states it is raining and it has become a little difficult not so much to open, but to continue because we have been in all the polling stations nationwide with our teams since 7 in the morning,” he explained.

He stressed that there are more than 100 international observers deployed in the national territory who accompany the electoral process.

In addition, the members of the Commission invited communities to participate in this electoral process to choose the project that will benefit them.
