Academia Puerto Cabello and Caracas FC lead the home runs of the Clausura Tournament (+FUTVE League)

Between Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd of October, the four matches corresponding to Date 2 of home runs A and B of the 2025 Clausura Tournament of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) were played.

For Quadrangular A, at the Monumental Stadium in Maturín, Academia Puerto Cabello beat Monagas SC 1-2, with goals from Mamadou Mbaye in the 71′ minute and Edwuin Pernía in 79′. Andrés Mehring scored for the Azulgrana at 15′.

For its part, Deportivo La Guaira equaled 1-1 with Zamora FC, at the Olympic stadium in the capital city. Juan Castellano scored 64′ for the locals and Antonio Romero scored 76′ for the visit.

Meanwhile, in Quadrangular B, Carabobo FC defeated Metropolitanos FC 1-0 at the Misael Delgado stadium, Valencia. The winning goal was scored by Miguel Ángel Pernía at 48′.

The national classic went to Caracas FC, after dominating Deportivo Táchira 3-2 at the Pueblo Nuevo stadium, in San Cristóbal. The winning targets were scored by Jeriel De Santis at 22′ penalty, José Hernández Chávez at 63′ and Daniel Rivillo in the added 90+4′. While Maurice Cova at 28′ and Adalberto Peñaranda at 74′ penalty made the discount.
