The Carlos Cruz-Diez Print Museum will open its doors to the event “I ndomita: Fashion that beats from the South”, a proposal under the slogan “Beauty without permission” that vindicates fashion made in Venezuela, inspired by afro-urban, indigenous and sustainable roots.

The activity will take place on December 4 and 5, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Admission is free for the general public to participate in this design ceremony.

The event will offer Fashion Sur: An Indomitable Runway where each garment is an artifact of identity that narrates the memory and future of Southern aesthetics.

In addition, a discussion will be held that will serve as reflection tables on aesthetics, body and identity from a decolonizing perspective; a textile first aid workshop to honor and extend the life of clothing and a creative market for creators and entrepreneurs.

The event is a joint production of Venezuela Indomita and WIP Creative Studio, with the support of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, the Carlos Cruz-Diez Print Museum and Misión Cultura. In addition, emblematic projects such as 100% San Agustín and Trenzas Insurgentes will participate, groups that weave knowledge from the territory and reinforce the connection between fashion and social life and cultural heritage.
