ALBA drums will ring in Venezuela from June 20 to 23

In Bolivar Square in Caracas, from June 20 to 23, the ALBA Meeting, the heartbeats of our identity, will be held , at which the countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) meet to highlight their brotherhood and cultural identity.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión, the conference will hold conferences on Caribbean and spirituality, culture and politics, economy and cultural tourism, among other topics in the region. The ALBA Drum Meeting is the first cultural space created by the Alliance to strengthen the common identity between the countries that make it up through homage, debate and reflection on the influence of African culture on the territories of the block.
The countries that make up a regional block will attend this meeting: Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Saint Lucia.
As guests will be Benin, Haiti, Honduras, Colombia, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and Uruguay and. It will also be a meeting to learn about the traditional drumming of Venezuela, such as those of Naiguatá (La Guaira state), Curiepe (Miranda), Tamunangue de Lara, the Guárico drum and other cultural celebrations.
It is important to note that during the meeting there will also be visits to different places in Venezuela to promote cultural exchange, as well as a procession for the Day of Spirituality in Caracas on June 22.
