ALBA-TCP Secretariat stands in solidarity with the Vice President of Colombia and advocates for an end to violence

The Executive Secretariat of ALBA-TCP expressed its solidarity with the vice-president of Colombia, Francia Márquez, and advocates an end to violence.

“The peoples and governments of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America have always advocated comprehensive peace and the cessation of political violence in Colombia,” said the Executive Secretary of ALBA-TCP, Jorge Arreaza, in a message posted on his account on the social network X.

Arreaza sent him a hug for Vice President Márquez, her family members and the brother government of Colombia.

The father of the Vice President of Colombia, together with his 6-year-old nephew and the two protection men, suffered an attack on the Suárez-Cali highway, near Timba, fortunately they were unharmed by the attack and are doing well.
