Ambassador of Brazil to Venezuela condemned and rejected unilateral coercive measures

During the development of the BRICS Forum on the “Multipolar World Under Construction” held in the Sucre Hall, at the headquarters of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, the Brazilian ambassador in Caracas, Glivânia Maria de Oliveira, emphasized the unjust and irregular nature of imposing sanctions on developing countries.

The ambassador condemned and rejected the unilateral coercive measures, misnamed sanctions, imposed by the United States (USA) against the Venezuelan State and member countries of the block, such as developing nations.

“We don't recognize the legitimacy of these coercive and unilateral measures,” said the Brazilian diplomat.

The meeting included a presentation by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil. In turn, the Venezuelan official was accompanied by the ambassadors of Russia and Brazil, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov and Gilvânia Maria de Oliveira.
