AN approved the Law Approving the Framework Agreement for Agricultural Cooperation adopted at the ALBA-TCP Summit

The National Assembly (AN) approved, during the plenary session this Thursday, the Law Approving the Framework Agreement for Agricultural Cooperation adopted at the XXIV ALBA-TCP Summit.

This instrument, approved unanimously, aims to develop the food agro-industry to promote cooperation in Latin American and Caribbean countries, for the productive development of nations.

In its single article, it was established that this agreement “has international effects as far as the Bolivarian Republic is concerned”.

Now, in accordance with the provisions of our current legal system, this legal instrument will be brought to the President of the Republic for him to grant execution.
