AN authorized the appointment of Franklin Zeltzer as ambassador to the Vatican State

The National Assembly (AN) authorized the appointment of Franklin Zeltzer Malpica as Venezuelan ambassador to Vatican City, in Rome, Italy.
In the regular session of this Thursday, the 15th, the deputy Azucena Jaspe (PSUV/Miranda), explained that Zeltzer would be the 45th ambassador authorized by this AN, to represent the country, the Parliament reported in a press release published on its website.
He added that Zeltzer held positions of national and international responsibility and reiterated that this appointment extends a new path of respect and diplomacy with the authorities of the Holy See.
Jaspe stressed that among the objectives of this diplomatic mission is to specify the work linked to cultural, social, human rights, educational and political objectives, among others.
He also emphasized that among the tasks that the ambassador will have, the renewal of the Concordat with the Holy See stands out, which is about to turn 60 and must adapt to the new times.
