The reform of electoral laws in Venezuela will allow political participation to be strengthened in terms of peaceful, constitutional action of parties and representatives of these organizations in the defense of the sovereignty and independence of the nation; this was stated this Friday by the president of the National Assembly (AN), deputy Jorge Rodríguez, during a popular assembly in the state of Anzoátegui.

“We have found that the situation of attack on the Venezuelan State, the blockades, the so-called sanctions and the declarations against the people in general, have already passed into a higher phase, of racism. The correlative to stopping that is because no one wants more sanctions, blockades, violence, whoever does politics must respect the Constitution and the laws,” summarized Rodríguez, from the city of Puerto La Cruz.

He called for the need for everyone to agree to recognize the results, honor to the loser and glory to the winner, which did not happen after the elections of July 28, because the extreme right and the extremist losers caused 27 people to die with their “commandos”.

Rodríguez called for safeguarding the peace of the Venezuelan family, which helps to live better with economic recovery and social coexistence. “It's good that in electoral moments where they are not favored, anxiety is created,” he said.

“All sectors of Anzoátegui have been invited and we will have all the proposals. Before the end of the legislative term of December 15, we will be ready with the reform of electoral laws,” he said.
