AN installed friendship group with Peru and 4 African countries

This Wednesday, the National Assembly (AN) installed parliamentary friendship groups with Peru and four African countries.
On this occasion, the new friendship groups of the Venezuelan Parliament with African countries are Guinea, Tanzania, Togo and Uganda, in order to promote and consolidate relations with their peoples and governments.
According to a press release from the AN, the president of the Venezuela-Guinea Parliamentary Friendship Group, MP Ysis Cordero Jiménez, the body in her office signifies an unwavering commitment to establishing relations with the world based on a new era of collaboration and cooperation.
“It is our duty, as parliamentarians, to strengthen the principles of cooperation, collaboration and the common good among nations. Even more so between Venezuela and Guinea, who, since May 7, 1985, have maintained a close relationship for peace and diplomacy,” he said.
Nowadays there are cooperation agreements in the fields of education, health, science, technology and economy, between both nations, which gives intrinsic recognition, he added.
In addition, the president of the group for Uganda, Gabriela Peña, said that ties with that country are nourished by affection, proof of this are the cooperation agreements in the fields of education, energy, health and tourism, to recognize and give its just dimension to the African country.
Meanwhile, the president of the Venezuela-Peru friendship group, deputy Sony Sánchez, said that Peru is circumscribed as one of the first countries in Latin America to participate in the World Parliamentary Congress against Fascism, Neofascism and Similar Expressions.
For his part, the president of the Venezuela-Togo parliamentary friendship group, deputy Yanis Agüero, welcomed the idea of continuing to strengthen bilateral relations between peoples, understanding that the great world elites have wanted to separate continents.
