The international analyst, Ángel Tortolero, said that Venezuela prevails “a climate of national unity to preserve peace and tranquility, in the face of the most recent threats.”

In an interview with the program Al Aire, which broadcasts Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he stressed that the country is seen before the world as a trench of struggle, which has successfully managed to overcome the constant aggressions it has received from the North American empire and its allies, as well as the attacks on constitutional president Nicolás Maduro.

“Faced with a monster in decline, in the face of a paper tiger now wounded, which attacks with ferocity, we remain steadfast. There is no weapon that can combat a national unit to defend the Homeland,” he emphasized.

He also pointed out that Bolivarian socialism is a concrete reality based on popular organization, the defense of sovereignty and the collective commitment to guarantee social justice, equality and well-being for all people.

On the other hand, he stressed that the actions taken by US President Donald Trump in the region “have become his political grave”, since both Republicans and Democrats seek to remove him from the White House or leave him in the worst position to replace him.

He pointed out that his foreign policy has caused serious damage in that country, especially in the economic area. “The Caribbean was a strategy of aggression, but now it is becoming their political grave and that is inevitable,” he said.
