International analyst Carolina Escarrà denounced this Wednesday that extremist sectors seek to falsely link the country to the development of military drones for Iran, as part of a strategy aimed at moving the United States offensive against the Persian nation to Venezuelan territory.
During an interview on the Al Aire program, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), he pointed out that this narrative seeks to pave the way for a proxy war in South America, led by foreign interests.
Escarrà also recalled that senior leaders in Guyana have urged to “contain Venezuela”, which he considers to be an indication of possible maneuvers to justify armed intervention, following the recent ceasefire reached by Iran in the Middle East.
In addition, he warned that 85% of the victims in modern conflicts are civilians, and that most wars occur in the global south, fueled by powers that avoid direct impacts on their own territories.
Regarding the confrontation between Iran and Israel, Escarra exposed the tension between American and Israeli interests, stating that Washington seeks to dissociate itself from responsibility in the face of possible escalations.
He recalled historic Zionist projects that included Latin American and African territories, warning of new destabilizing attempts towards Iran and the region.
