Anzoátegui received more than 500,000 seasoners at Carnival

The governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis Marcano, reported that according to the official report of the Ministry for Tourism (MINTUR), the entity received more than 500,000 seasonal workers during the Carnival holidays. He highlighted that the state ranked fifth in the most visited destinations in Venezuela.

Through a press release from the regional government, it became known that the president indicated that Anzoátegui also appears in the MINTUR figures as the state with the highest perception of security in the entire country. “This assessment confirms progress in one of the most important variables for the development of tourism, such as security. We know that those who mobilize during vacation seasons, one of the elements they are most aware of, is the issue of safety,” he said.

The governor recognized the work of the responsible bodies as well as the citizenship of the seasoners.
