Under the deception that Commander Hugo Chávez had resigned, on April 12, 2002, the country's media had censored that the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution was kidnapped in La Orchila.
The fascist media celebrated the coup d'etat, one of them was Venevisión harshly on the 24 Hours program when Napoleon Bravo released his disastrous phrase: “Good morning, we have a new President”.
Fascism began to do its thing, with the arrest of officials of the Bolivarian Government, including the then Minister of Interior and Justice, Ramón Rodríguez Chacín, and the deputy Tarek William Saab; victims of political hatred on the extreme right.
In addition, the mayor of Baruta at the time, Henrique Carpiles Radonski, attacked the Cuban embassy in Venezuela, and kidnapped people who were there.
These were hours of pure fascism, the national media conspired to hide those crimes perpetrated by Carmonazo, broadcasting cartoons without commercial breaks, while the people began to suspect and wonder: Where is Chávez?
