Apure: Safe Christmas Operation 2024 will have more than 6 thousand employees

In the state of Apure, Operation Safe
Christmas 2024 began, under the direction of the Ministry of Interior,
Justice and Peace, the newspaper Úlmas Noticias reported.
According to the publication, the operation has
6,034 security officers distributed in 48 service points, “to
ensure order and well-being in the entity, as well as the protection of
tourists and visitors.”
In this regard, the commander of the Comprehensive Defense Operational
Zone (ZODI) 31 Apure, Daniel Alfonso Galarraga Torres,
stressed the importance of this deployment, aimed at reducing road accidents.
The Secretary of Public Security, Colonel Ramón
Cabeza, stressed that security is a collective responsibility, and that the
commitment must be made by the People's Power to ensure that citizens celebrate
these festivities in harmony.
