Arab religious guide thanked President Maduro for his support for the Palestinian cause

This Friday, March 28, the Auxiliary Religious Guide of the Sheik Ibrahim Bin Abdulaziz al Ibrahim Mosque, Sheikh Omar Kaddoura, thanked the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, for his firm position and support for one of the most noble, just and humane causes of the modern era, such as the Palestinian cause, and also for receiving the request to be Venezuelan-Arab.

The intervention was carried out at the Miraflores Palace, on the occasion of the event led by the head of state, who received representatives of the Arab Muslim Community, at the close of the holy month of Ramadan.

Omar Kaddoura expressed his gratitude for this invitation at the close of the holy month of Ramadan and assured that the meeting was imbued with faith in God and love for the Venezuelan Fatherland.

“Today we are united in the same message of peace, respect and tolerance, and today we thank you for your invitation and the love that President Maduro has accustomed us to,” he said.

Ramadan is one of the fundamental pillars of Islam, a holy month of fasting or 'sawm' that is practiced every year during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.

During this time, Muslims around the world abstain from eating, drinking and performing acts of impurity from dawn to dusk. In addition, it has a deep religious meaning, since it is believed to be the month in which the Quran, the holy book of Islam, was revealed to the Prophet Mohammed.
