Aragua Boxing Association and the Mayor's Office of Las Tejerías hold Women's Green Boxing Day

In an unprecedented event for regional sports, the municipality of Las Tejería s in the state of Aragua became the epicenter of boxing in Aragüeño, hosting the first Women's Green Boxing Day. The event marked a historic milestone as it was the first boxing card comprised exclusively of female athletes.

The day brought together promising people from the quadrangle aged between 10 and 17. The event was attended by local fighters, as well as girls and young people from Maracay, Palo Negro and guests from the state of Guárico, details a local press release.

The boxers of Las Tejerías defended the house under the seal of the Niña Suárez Team, the Voy a ser Grande School and the El Renacer de Las Tejerías School, which reaffirmed the talent and growth of the women's sports hotbed in the jurisdiction. In this regard, it should be noted that, of the 15 fights fought, the state of Aragua won in 10, in which the representatives of the house were the winners.

It is worth noting that this day was supported by the Boxing Association of the state of Aragua, as well as the mayor of Las Tejerías, Régulo La Cruz and the governor of the state of Aragua, Joana Sánchez.
