Aragua delegation grows in National Community Games

The delegation of the state of Aragua present at the III National Community Games experienced a highly productive day, adding new medals that strengthen and help to rise in its position in the overall medal table, with special prominence in disciplines such as swimming, table tennis and collective sports and consolidates with an outstanding performance with 29 medals in different
disciplines. The most outstanding performance of
the day came in men's table tennis, which brought a new gold medal for teams, thanks to the outstanding performance of Christopher Chacón (Girardot municipality), Carlos Hernández (Sucre municipality), Gabriel Angarita and Andrés Motamayor (Girardot municipality), who demonstrated talent, discipline and cohesion at each meeting.
It is also from the pool, where the athlete María Esparragoza won the bronze medal in the women's 50-meter chest event, demonstrating a high competitive level. Esparragoza represents the Girardot municipality and the Socialist Commune Mother María Cultural Corridor Maracay Cómo Te Quiero, leaving out the name of her community and the state of Aragua.
In collective sports, Aragua also won an important silver medal in men's 3x3 basketball, won by the athletes Breyxon Machado, Deywand Abello, Rodney Castillo (Zamora municipality, Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías Agroecological District) and Brayley Herrera (Sucre municipality, Rafael Urdaneta District), after an outstanding participation throughout the tournament.
Table tennis continued to contribute to the medal table with the bronze medal for women's teams, made up of Salomé Acacio, Migbelys Caicedo, Fabiana Báez and Rosmery Páez.
Andrés Motamayor and Gabriel Angarita won bronze in men's doubles while the women's doubles won bronze by the duo of Fabiana Báez and Rosmery Páez, while Fabiana Báez and Andrés Motamayor won the silver medal in mixed doubles.
