Argentines start strike against the law to definance social security and precarious employment

In the context of the scenario of economic suffocation and mass layoffs, a new general strike called by the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) begins this Thursday against the labor reform project promoted by President Javier Milei.

As announced by the country's main labor union, the strike began at zero on February 19, the day on which the project will be discussed in Congress.

The measure will have a direct impact on public transport, production and public administration, promising to leave streets empty and shop shutters closed, as warned by the leadership of the CGT.
