Cabello highlights the mobilization capacity of the PSUV and supports President Rodríguez's speech to the UN

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted on Monday the massive response capacity of the revolutionary militancy that took to the streets in support of the speech given by the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, before the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

During a press conference held by the national leadership of the PSUV, Cabello Rondón stressed that the call for the mobilization was made a few hours earlier. “Whoever has eyes can see (...). It was a very nice march, we needed to leave,” he said.

“We witnessed the speech of our president Delcy Rodriguez before the UN General Assembly, where she went to defend all Venezuelan women and we went out to march in support, with joy and without bitterness of any kind. Neither the rain nor the sun affects us, we march the same way,” he said

Cabello Rondón added that there were high expectations because they had not left for a while because they are focused on caring for people affected by the double earthquake. “We had not done any activities for a long time, after the earthquake we were working to care for the brothers from La Guaira and Caracas and we're still there, we haven't left, today delegations from Carabobo and Aragua are arriving,” he said.

He also explained that the march culminated around the corner of San Francisco, in the center of Caracas, where a commission handed over to the first vice-president of the National Assembly, deputy Pedro Infante, a request for the plenary to discuss a formal agreement to support the management and international representation of the head of state.

Cabello Rondón reaffirmed that the political organization will continue to mobilize in the streets across the country.
