Attention! SAIME warned about an expired passport scam

The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME) warned about offering fraudulent procedures for users with expired passports.

The institution that guarantees the identity of Venezuelans assured that they do not send emails offering a 'digital travel safe-conduct' for Venezuelans with an expired passport and who request that the recipient contact a supposed head of international operations.”

In this regard, through its Instagram account, SAIME urged citizens not to share personal information, because all identification procedures are carried out through the web portal www.saime.gob.ve, in a personalized way.
