The Attorney General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Tarek William Saab, confirmed that the measures of six U.S. citizens deprived of their liberty in the country who had their rights respected and were sent to their country were reviewed.

He stressed that after the visit of the special envoy of the Government of the United States (USA), Richard Grenell, information has been generated and images disseminated, showing that these citizens are in perfect health.

“They are grateful not only for the release, but they were treated in a dignified manner as appropriate to any citizen,” the prosecutor stressed during an interview with Venezolana de Televisión.

Saab said that the talks between the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro and the special envoy of the United States, demonstrate the recognition of his inauguration as head of state and government and commander in chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces.

He stressed that these dialogue tables represent “a triumph of Venezuelan Bolivarian diplomacy traced by Commander Hugo Chávez, who was the one who founded this type of diplomacy and that President Maduro continued, as his best disciple, the way of that direct diplomacy, of respect, of reaching agreements that are fulfilled.” He said that when Venezuela arrives and signs an agreement with a bilateral country, it keeps its word and keeps it.
