This Saturday, the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, through the social network Instagram, reported that the president of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, simulated a domestic accident in order not to attend the BRICS Summit.
“Direct and close sources from Brazil inform me that President Lula da Silva manipulated an alleged accident to use it as an alibi in order not to attend the recent BRICS Summit, and that this version was nothing more than a deception to carry out the veto against Venezuela,” wrote the prosecutor.
He also stressed that he evaded his responsibility to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the other leaders attending the Summit and, in particular, President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
“What went very strongly as a rumor, unfortunately seems to be corroborated by a video released yesterday, where President Lula is seen healthy, using his powers and acting with total cynicism,” wrote prosecutor Saab.
In this regard, he assured that several countries and the world left have criticized the efforts of the Lula government against Venezuela.
In an audiovisual material shared through the account of the head of the Venezuelan Public Ministry on Instagram, the Brazilian president can be seen unharmed, for this reason he openly urged to investigate the alleged domestic incident.
