Authorities discuss coverage of the Eastern 2024 National and Paranational Games

During a meeting of the team responsible for the East 2024 National and Paranational Games in Monagas state, where preparations and logistics were discussed, to ensure that this event is a total success.

The meeting was led by the Minister of Popular Power for Sports, Arnaldo Sánchez and the governor of Monagas, Ernesto Luna.

The authorities have finalized details of the accommodation of the athletes and visitors who will arrive for the National Games, since it is essential to ensure that everyone has a comfortable and welcoming place to rest after a day full of competition and excitement.

“We must guarantee quality care to thousands of people and create the conditions required for this, considering that Monagas will be the main venue for this majestic sporting event,” said Minister Sánchez.

Those involved addressed 11 points related to the event, including: attention to athletes, food, transportation, safety, hydration, lodging, clinical assistance, tourist routes, volunteering, Fuego Patrio and closing ceremony.

Monagas, with 19 disciplines, will serve as the host state for this sporting event that will bring together 4,295 athletes in 13 facilities from November 2 to 24.

Governor Luna stressed that there will be more than 45 days of activities of different kinds that will take place during the development of the three high-stature sporting events to be held before the end of the year in the state, namely: National and Paranational Games, as well as the match between the Vinotinto national team and the representation of Brazil.
