Baile de La Llora brought together more than a thousand dancers in Aragua

In the state of Aragua, more than 1 thousand dancers came together on stage and 100 musicians on stage at the National Meeting of Practitioners, Carriers and Performers of the La Llora dance.
According to information from Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the musicians and dancers delighted the audience in Plaza Bolívar de Zuata, for the celebration of this tradition that reached its 44 years without interruption in the performance of songs and dances related to this demonstration, with the participation of the states Miranda, Guárico, Yaracuy, Capital District and Aragua as host.
The professor and member of the La Llora de Aragua Collective, William Roche, expressed his pride in the receptivity that accompanies the defenders of the cultural event every year, which is expected to be exalted soon by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Joropo valseado as Sambainina, La Vaca, San Juan y la Magdalena, La Chispa, Oso Melero, and El Palito, came together to the rhythm of the carangano, maracas, the cuatro, the mandolin and the bass, so that Zuata would join in a single song and enjoy the dance of La Llora.
Mayor Juan Carlos Sánchez accompanied the majestic activity, in which he once again highlighted the commitment of the Bolivarian Revolution to the enhancement of traditional demonstrations such as La Llora.
