Within the framework of actions to care for vulnerable populations, the Treasury Bank, in alliance with seven public and private financial institutions, activated the special Venezuela Renace social credit program, aimed at facilitating the purchase of housing for families who lost their homes due to the earthquakes that occurred last June 24.
The funding mechanism consists of two operational phases for processing, details the institution's press release.
The first phase (Evaluation of the applicant): Those affected must submit the application form, identity card, RIF, recent account statements, income certification or proof of work and the guarantees of habitability or ownership of the collapsed property by issuing them via the Presidential Commission on Habitability or Saren (or through equivalent documents if the property belonged to the Great Venezuela Housing Mission). With these measures, the banking institution evaluates payment capacity and issues the Pre-Approval Certificate.
In the second phase (Documentation of the property to be purchased): Once the first phase has been approved, the seller's documents (ID, powers of attorney or succession solvency if applicable) are entered together with the technical file of the property to be purchased (purchase-sale option, registered property title, tax certification, cadastral certificate and municipal solvency).
Upon completing the technical and legal verification of all requirements, the financial institution proceeds to directly settle the housing payment in foreign exchange to the seller, reaffirming the commitment of the banking sector to access a decent home for affected families.
