Banking operated normally throughout the country

The president of the Venezuelan Banking Association, Pedro Pacheco Rodríguez, said that “all banks have a business continuity plan, given the situation presented in the electricity service,” this Friday.

Quoted in a press release, he highlighted that the plan was activated given the current situation and confirmed the operation of the banks, both of their headquarters and their technological platforms. He also added that “digital customer service channels are active. In the case of the office network, those that are affected by the unavailability of electricity service are not operating.”
