New flights loaded with solidarity with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, in the face of the national emergency due to the earthquakes recorded on June 24, arrived this Sunday at the “Simón Bolívar” International Airport, in La Guaira, with humanitarian aid and several rescue brigades.

From Barbados, a plane arrived with more than 500 kg of humanitarian aid, in addition to the more than 10 tons recently sent from the Caribbean country to support people affected by the earthquakes, including two field hospitals.

Meanwhile, from the sister Republic of Colombia, two Hercules planes from its Air Force arrived with 18 tons of humanitarian aid, in addition to technical equipment.

The shipment consists of a field hospital, with 31 people to operate it; 24 tents, medicines, two power plants and air conditioners, as well as two health engineers, an industrial engineer and six journalists.

On the other hand, Argentina sent a team of 36 rescuers to take over the group that was deployed in Venezuela in search and rescue efforts.

The flights were received by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Andrea Corao, as well as by the Venezuelan ambassador Ramón Gordils.
