The candidate of the Great Patriotic Pole Simón Bolívar for the governor of the state of Barinas, Adán Chávez, assured that if elected, he will finance from the state budget the projects prioritized with second and third place in the National Popular Consultations.

During the closing ceremony of the campaign, he said that in recent weeks he toured different communities, knowing first-hand the proposals and needs of the people of Barinas.

He argued that one of the main problems presented was security, so he committed himself to increasing the police presence, the presence of all State Security Bodies in the different communities.

He emphasized that the previous president neglected social projects. “We are going to relaunch them, to strengthen them, to rescue schools, high schools and universities, to rehabilitate sports spaces, build new courts, gyms, houses of culture, whatever is necessary for the comprehensive development of programs for crime prevention,” he said.

“We don't make promises, we make commitments, and the fundamental commitment is to our people, to govern together with the people and for the people, to turn Barinas into a powerful state,” he said.
