Barinas: Bolivarian Government served 63 people in vulnerable situations

The Bolivarian Government organized a comprehensive care day for the benefit of 62 patients in vulnerable situations at the Pedro Briceño Méndez Negra Hipólita Socialist Therapeutic Center, located in the La Cochinilla sector of Barinitas, Barinas state.

The day was organized on Tuesday by the Black Hippolyta Mission in collaboration with several government institutions and provided 559 services in various medical specialties, including general medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, ultrasound, nutrition, ophthalmology, optometry, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology, dentistry and mental health.

“In addition, tests were carried out for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), syphilis, tuberculosis, COVID-19, malaria, prostate antigen and hepatitis, as well as investigations on high blood pressure and diabetes,” the newspaper Última Noticias reported.

During the day, deworming services, care for people with disabilities, surgical recruitment, care for patients with requests for 1×10, immunization and drug delivery were also provided.
