The Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) reported that the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 8.78% in the second quarter of 2024, a figure that shows 13 consecutive months of growth in the economy.
In addition, he indicated that in the first quarter the increase was 8.40%, compared to the similar period in 2023.
“The results of the last 3 years indicate that the Venezuelan economy is on a real path of recovery, reinventing itself and overcoming its obstacles,” said the BCV through its official website.
He stressed that these positive results in economic dynamics are due to the work of the Venezuelan people despite the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States and the European Union (EU).
