Bolivarian Government activated prevention and security deployment in the state of Anzoátegui

The Bolivarian Government activated preventive and security deployment in the state of Anzoátegui to combat irregular incidents that may affect daily activities in the entity, thus strengthening peace and the integral defense of the people.

“This year 2025 we began a battle for the defense of the Constitution, laws and institutions, which allow us to have the peace, stability and order necessary to move forward,” said the governor of the eastern entity, Luis José Marcano.

The deployment took place simultaneously on Troncal 9, near the town of Bruzual. In addition, Marcano supervised the Community Defense Plan installed at the “José Antonio Anzoátegui” Water Treatment Plant in Barcelona.

The regional president said that, through the lines of the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, security forces were brought together to carry out the country's defense agenda.

“This operation is being carried out in preparation for the swearing in of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, on January 10, to defend peace. We must be prepared for any circumstance and that is what we are doing today with this communal defense exercise,” he said.
