Bolivarian Government activated support operation in Angostura after the Orinoco River flooded

The National Risk Management System (SNGR), in close collaboration with Civil Protection (PC) of the state of Bolívar, activated a support operation in the Angostura del Orinoco municipality of Bolívar state, after the flooding of the Orinoco River.

PC Bolívar officials carried out the evacuation of families from the Amores y Amoríos and El Edén sectors, to ensure their safe transfer to temporary shelters and the safeguarding of their essential assets.

The objective of this activity was to identify risks and implement preventive measures in a coordinated manner and in perfect civic-military-police fusion to guarantee the safety of the population during this emergency.
