Bolivarian Government activates cultural agenda in communes for Christmas

The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas announced a special deployment of initiatives that will be developed in the country's 5,336 communal circuits and communes, to strengthen the holiday traditions, coexistence and participation of the entire Venezuelan family.

Among the set of actions that will take place, Villegas reported that until December 21, the call to participate in the Festival of Cribs, Aguinaldos and Parranda will be open, a tradition that will be present in every commune and communal circuit, with cultural proposals that honor the creativity and popular memory of the Venezuelan people.

He also explained that a Communal Domino Championship will be held, which will be held every Saturday and Sunday of this month, and which seeks to bring together neighbors and families to share and strengthen community unity around a game deeply rooted in national identity.

Likewise, the Christmas Recreational Festival will be launched, which will begin this December 5 in all communities of the country, and whose objective is to promote healthy leisure through recreational activities such as skating, carriage races, traditional games and storytelling days, promoting the coexistence and participation of children, young people and adults.

Minister Villegas announced that the Community Christmas Party will include parties, proclamations, choirs, living births and festive gatherings in each communal space, detailed the ministerial portfolio in a press release.
