This Sunday, the Bolivarian Government held an assembly with the communities of the entity's Los Taques municipality, with the purpose of establishing various strategic lines that contribute to the reduction of crime rates in the town.
The activity was attended by the mayor of the municipality, María Arcaya, together with the regional authorities of the citizen security bodies.
In this regard, the activity was framed under the premise of strengthening civic military police fusion, and key aspects were addressed, such as coordinated work with community spokespersons, the Peace Tables and the execution of a prevention and security diagnosis as a fundamental tool for addressing the Peace Quadrants, in the defense and protection of citizens, according to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace.
In addition, working mechanisms were established to effectively combat crime and all the complexities that derive from crime in communities.
Finally, with these actions, established in the programmatic actions of the Great Quadrant Peace Mission, the articulation between citizen security bodies and the People's Power is strengthened, a necessary element to improve the capacity to respond to any situation that occurs in the territory.
