Bolivarian Government advances environmental reforestation day in Yaracuy

Within the framework of the policies promoted in Venezuela for the preservation of the environment and ecological sovereignty, the State Research Center Foundation for Experimental Agroindustrial Production (CIEPE), an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), actively participated in the Day of Reforestation: Plant a Tree, Future Harvest.

The activity, according to a press release, took place on the banks of the ravine located adjacent to the Prados del Norte urbanization, in the municipality of Independencia, and served as a tool for the restoration of degraded areas by planting 70 ornamental and forest trees, including jabillos and cedars.

This action, oriented to Plan Chuquisaca 2026, was developed in perfect civic-military-police union. It was attended by the Yaracuy Tree Mission, the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism (MINEC), the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the Yaracuy Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone (ZODI), the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), Civil Protection (PC) and Disaster Management (PCAD) of the region, as well as the Yaracuy State Comptroller's Office (CEY).
