The Bolivarian Government of the city of Maracay in the state of Aragua continues to implement the Girardot 100% Illuminated plan, focused on modernizing and optimizing the public lighting system in strategic sectors and main roads of the municipality.
Among the recent interventions, the installation of 180 LED luminaires stands out in the Los Cocos sector, an area prioritized due to its high population density. This work will guarantee 100% light coverage in the area, benefiting more than 1,500 families who live in this town.
In parallel, preventive maintenance and replacement of luminaires were carried out on Avenida 19 de Abril and López Aveledo, Avenida Aragua, Avenida Casanova Godoy and Avenida Fuerzas Aéreas, with complete renovation of the electrical grid and replacement of lamps with LED technology, optimizing their circuits to reduce faults and energy consumption.
In the same way, the plan extended its actions to Sector 19 de Mayo, the stretch of the main avenue of the Cantarrana sector, Corozal, Sucre Avenue, Canal Street and Rio Blanco.
These interventions, aligned with the program's standards, guarantee greater visibility and safety in residential areas and high-traffic roads, reinforcing the municipal commitment to bringing efficient lighting to the entire community.
