Representatives of the Bolivarian Government of Caracas are carrying out a plan for deep cleaning in the historic center of the capital after the celebration of the carnival holiday, said the mayor, Carmen Meléndez.
Through a video published in her X account, the president explained that these tasks are being carried out hand in hand with the Government of the Capital District, to guarantee clean and safe spaces for the people of Caracas.
In addition, Meléndez explained that, together with the head of government, Nahum Fernández, they are also carrying out a project to build public toilets for visitors to the historic center. “This is a project that the people have asked us to do,” he emphasized.
